  R. Wesley Tink

Hello! My name is Wes Tink.  It is a great privilege to work with the people of the Stenton Park neighborhood of Philadelphia to accomplish positive outcomes to real challenges. Front Step exists to enhance quality of family life in this urban community.  We practice effective methods in relation to poverty, health and education by the application of hope, wisdom, experience and joy.

While the challenges of non-profit, faith-based organizations are many and varied, and we are relentless in our efforts to fulfill our mission. At Front Step we are committed to upholding the same values and principles that make non-profits effective.

Our successes and accomplishments are directly related to those who have invested their time and resources and time the work of Front Step, Inc. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to you for your ongoing support--YOU are making the difference!

Front Step provides services that equip and empower people, organizations, and projects that intentionally and directly assist the urban community in realizing its full potential. Our services recognize the need for these entities to be involved in a process that gives them the opportunity to work toward the solution of their own problems.

We serve our communities tangibly, as well as spiritually, through physical, financial, and relational resources. These may include information, referrals, direct resources, and/or collaborative efforts with other service providers.

Mission statement: We value people and develop individuals by transforming communities and offering services and training in the areas of personal development, leadership, character, and spiritual formation.
